I would suggest that for real world pilots that they purchase MS FSX deluxe or any other software for the G1000 and learn it before they take to the sky.i think it would make a world of difference. Also, MS FSX doesn't reproduce the G1000 exactly, so some information he talks about you will not be able to do.bummer. This is a great addition to the franchise IMO. There is definitely some motion effects and camera shaking being simulated during, for example, turbulence and landings. Word of caution for us simmers, if you plan on doing some serious flying using the G1000 and this book or for that matter the Garmin 500, you will need to have the approach plates, it really makes a difference.
